Lewis Shepperd: Tracks That Shaped My Sound

Lewis Shepperd takes huge influences from Brit Pop, Nu Metal, Rock and Hip-Hip. Creating a fresh new sound for each of his songs. Live performances is where Lewis thrives, his energetic and flamboyant presence is a sight to behold, encapsulating the audience with his vocal range and next level falsetto.

Fresh from an in Store performance at HMV in Southampton, performing Thorpe Parks Fright Night and playing to a 4,000 full capacity tent at Isle of Wight Festival 2023 Lewis has been sinking his teeth into the music industry performing all over the south coast. Lewis is set to play the Takedown Festival Showcase Nov 12th at 1865 in Southampton.

His latest grunge/alt rock single BiTE has hit 10,000 steams since May 2023 and has been featured on BBC Radio Solent / Introducing pre-release, and on the BBC Radio Solent / Introducing Halloween special. It has also received praise from various other major radio stations and new articles.

Biffy Clyro - End Of

Biffy have always been a huge influence to me. Simon Neil’s lyrics/melody, guttural screams and big riffs definitely ended up helping me write BiTE.

incubus - megalomaniac

The raw/live production on this track was something I aimed for when writing BiTE I really wanted it to sound like a band. Brandon Boyd’s vocal style has always been a huge influence of mine.

Don Broco - Technology

I started the writing process of BiTE with an intro & outro. I messed about with it after hearing the ending of technology and I wanted to incorporate the half-time, heavy riff ending in my own style. Thanks to this track BiTE was born.
