Ako Gets Comfortable With Confidence on New Single ‘Love Sick’

British-Ghanaian artist and producer Ako is stepping into a more confident chapter with ‘Love Sick’, the latest release from his ongoing Introducing Ako series.

Rather than getting caught up in the complications of romance, ‘Love Sick’ is all about the pull of someone who knows exactly who they are. Built around attraction, energy and connection, the track captures that magnetic feeling of being drawn to someone without needing to define what comes next.

It’s another side of an artist who has been gradually revealing himself through the Introducing Ako series — a five-part body of work exploring love, relationships, self-reflection and personal growth.

Following ‘Honest’, ‘Love Crimes’ and ‘Way You Are’, ‘Love Sick’ shifts the focus towards admiration and confidence, with Ako embracing a lighter, more assured perspective on connection.

The release also highlights Ako’s growing presence behind the scenes. Alongside his own music, he has built production credits including Ray Alex’s ‘Disbelief’ featuring SAMSON & Wiseiris, which picked up support from BBC Introducing London, as well as collaborations with Wiseiris.
