FOCUS Wales Festival Boasts Largest International Lineup Yet with Artists from Over 20 Countries"

Get ready for a global musical extravaganza as FOCUS Wales Festival gears up for its most international edition yet, set to take place from May 9th to 11th, 2024, across various venues in Wrexham, North Wales.With artists hailing from over 20 different countries, this year's lineup promises an eclectic mix of talent, showcasing the diversity and richness of the global music scene. Among the highlights are performances from Australian contemporary folk duo Charm of Finches, award-winning Nova Scotian hip hop artist Kayo, and post-punk noise band W!ZARD from Bordeaux, France.

Adding to the excitement are 100 new artists announced today, including Ukrainian acts Akine, NFNR, and Ratmir Bilodid, supported by a partnership between FOCUS Wales and the British Council. From Québec, ALIAS, DVTR, Bon Enfant, and La Sécurité join the lineup as part of a cultural exchange initiative with M for Montreal.

In a special celebration of its 40th anniversary, FIRE Records will host a Friday night showcase featuring critically acclaimed artists Graham Reynolds and Ella Raphael, with a secret set to be revealed during the festival.

This impressive lineup complements the already prestigious roster, which includes Spiritualized, The Mysterines, Deerhoof, and more.
