BabyStep Magazine

In an electrifying revelation, BRITs Week 24 for War Child has unleashed its stellar 2024 line-up, promising music aficionados an unparalleled series of intimate performances from some of the biggest names in the industry. Since its inception in 2009, BRITs Week has raised an astounding £7 million for War Child, aiding children whose lives have been shattered by conflict.

Set to kick off on February 19th, the festivities commence with singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot's soulful ballads at London's iconic Union Chapel, while rock legends You Me At Six will ignite Brighton's Concorde 2. On February 20th, London's O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire hosts a night to remember with the beloved band Keane taking center stage.

As the BRITs Week takeover continues on February 21st, London becomes the epicenter of musical ecstasy with three stellar shows. Indie pop sensation Baby Queen will enchant Lafayette, while BRIT award-winning rapper Aitch will undoubtedly command the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire stage. Simultaneously, indie rock veterans Ash will make history at The 100 Club for the first time in their illustrious 30-year career.

On February 23rd, electronic heavyweights Pendulum will unleash their high-tempo set at central London’s HERE at Outernet. The musical journey doesn't stop there, with Sleaford Mods dominating the stage at Scala on February 28th. March 1st sees rising stars CMAT and Venbee taking their talents to Bush Hall and Omeara, respectively.

Culminating this spectacular musical marathon on March 4th is The Last Dinner Party, one of the country’s most talked-about bands and winners of the BRITs Rising Star 2024 award and the BBC Sound poll, closing the series at The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge.

BRITs Week is more than just a celebration of music; it's a powerful collaboration produced by AEG Presents, BPI, Bauer Media Audio UK, and War Child, the charity dedicated to supporting children affected by conflict. The proceeds from these shows will contribute to War Child’s critical work, providing support to children in the aftermath of war.

Additionally, a limited number of tickets for each show will be available, with a War Child pre-sale starting on January 18th and general sale on January 19th.

Joining forces as partners for BRITs Week 24 is Bauer Media Audio, with its stations Absolute Radio, Hits Radio, Kerrang! Radio, and KISS all promoting the series of special gigs, offering listeners a chance to win their way in.

Clare Sanders Wright, Senior Music Manager at War Child, expresses gratitude to the artists and partners, emphasizing the significance of the funds raised for children affected by conflicts.
