RZA joins forces with LEE YOUNGJI, E SENS and Jay Park to rework the legendary anthem for the blockbuster game’s Korean setting.

Wu-Tang Clan are taking a hip-hop classic into the gaming world, with ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ getting a bold new remix for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, bringing together the legacy of one of rap’s most influential groups with some of Korea’s biggest hip-hop voices.

Produced by Wu-Tang’s RZA alongside Martin Wave of Parasol Music, the reimagined track features Korean artists LEE YOUNGJI, E SENS and Jay Park delivering verses in both English and Korean. The collaboration connects the iconic original to the game’s new Korean setting, creating a cross-cultural meeting point between generations of hip-hop.

The original version of ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ will feature in the game’s opening cinematic, while the new remix will soundtrack the end credits. The reworked track is also set for release via Epic Records across major streaming platforms.

For RZA, the collaboration carries a personal significance, with the original song helping propel Wu-Tang Clan onto the global stage. “This song is special to me because it brought our group to new heights worldwide,” he said. “Reimagining it in a new language with the incredible talent of LEE YOUNGJI, E SENS and Jay Park gives the track a fresh perspective.”

Released in 1993, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ remains one of Wu-Tang Clan’s defining records, its unflinching reflections on struggle, ambition and survival continuing to resonate across generations. Those themes also underpin the latest Call of Duty storyline, making the collaboration a natural fit.

Activision’s Chief Marketing Officer Tyler Bahl highlighted the parallels between the track’s message and the game’s characters, describing the partnership as a way to connect two generations of music and culture while remaining authentic to the game’s setting.

The collaboration continues Call of Duty’s history of bringing music from different genres and regions to its global player base, using gaming as a platform to introduce audiences to new artists and sounds.

With RZA at the production helm and three distinct voices from Korea’s hip-hop scene bringing fresh energy to a rap landmark, this is more than a nostalgic placement — it’s a cross-cultural reimagining of a track whose message still hits hard.

The ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ remix is out now via Epic Records.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on 23 October across all platforms.
