Wishy Share Dreamy New Single “Mona Lisa”

Indianapolis five-piece Wishy are back with “Mona Lisa”, the latest taste of their upcoming second album, Nature’s Pill, out October 2 via Winspear.

Blending fuzzy guitar pop, dream-pop haze and big indie melodies, “Mona Lisa” kicks off with a swagger before opening into a huge singalong finish. It’s classic Wishy: catchy, slightly off-kilter and packed with enough texture to keep you coming back.

The track arrives with a new video and follows previously released singles “Lovesick,” “All The Rage” and “Sensational,” giving fans an increasingly clear picture of where the band are heading with their follow-up to 2024’s acclaimed Triple Seven.

Produced alongside Ben Lumsdaine, Nature’s Pill marks a more collaborative chapter for the band, with Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites writing together alongside contributions from guitarist Dimitri Morris and bassist Mitch Collins. The group also tracked half the album live in a small Los Angeles studio, bringing some of their live energy directly into the recordings.

After spending the summer touring the US with The Beths and Beach Bunny, Wishy are now gearing up for a run of headline dates across the States.

“Mona Lisa” is out now — and Nature’s Pill is shaping up to be Wishy at their most playful, melodic and gloriously messy yet.
