The Vitrines Announce Upcoming Single 'You Give Me Chills'

Returning to the scene with all guns blazing, Southampton duo The Vitrines come in the form of a one-two punch. Alex Donovan and Billy Houghton are back with a no-nonsense single that encapsulates the band’s gnarly post-punk sound. ‘You Give Me Chills’ lands digitally on the 28th May.

Their first release of the year, the two-piece have been carefully crafting a brand-new collection of tunes and now they’re ready to unleash the first part of their new story. Featuring fuzzy guitar melodies, powerhouse drumming, and a relentlessly hooky chorus that takes the song to the next level.

It’s easy to hear why The Vitrines have clocked up 50,000+ Spotify streams and why they’ve appeared on playlists such as The Punk List and Fresh Fans alongside Idles and Fontaines DC. Not to mention their string of impressive radio support from Steve Lamacq at 6 Music, John Kennedy at Radio X and a big local thumbs up from BBC Intro Solent.

As well as flexing their studio muscle as of late, the band are preparing for a three-date This Feeling tour too. After gracing the stages of festivals such as Isle Of Wight, it’s no secret that they know how to handle themselves on the live front, and they’re back at it this Autumn.
