Vienna Vienna Returns With Explosive New Single "Angel Wings"

Vienna Vienna has returned with powerful new single "Angel Wings," a soaring alt-rock anthem that transforms queer identity, inner conflict and emotional collapse into one of his most cathartic releases yet.

Out now via PULSE Records and DCD2 Records, the Los Angeles-based artist's latest offering blends grimy '90s guitar textures, punchy live drums and towering hooks, cementing the emotional, theatrical sound he's dubbed "Glimmer Rock." Opening with simmering vulnerability before erupting into a huge chorus, "Angel Wings" captures the tension between hiding your true self and finally breaking free.

Speaking about the track, Vienna Vienna explains: "Hiding queerness from your 'friends' is hard, but hiding it from 'God' is a battle of life and death. I mean, how could I not fall in love with the secrecy of it all?"

The single follows January's acclaimed Entertain Me EP, which has amassed more than 1.8 million streams while earning praise from SPIN, Consequence and Alternative Press. Momentum has only continued to build after fan favourite "Make a Man Out of You" featured during one of the biggest cliffhanger moments in Prime Video's hit series Off Campus, introducing a new wave of listeners to Vienna Vienna's genre-blurring world.

Alongside the new release, Vienna Vienna has announced a UK headline tour for September, taking in London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Brighton following a run of North American dates supporting G Flip. The artist will also appear on this year's Vans Warped Tour, continuing a breakout year that's seen his emotionally charged live performances become a defining part of his growing reputation.

With "Angel Wings," Vienna Vienna doubles down on everything that's made him one of alternative music's most exciting rising names—blending glam theatrics, raw vulnerability and arena-sized hooks into a release that's as defiant as it is euphoric.
