untitled bring their raw alt-rock to the UK with new single ‘Tinted View’

LA alt-rock four-piece untitled are turning up the volume with their latest single, Tinted View — and they're bringing it with them when they finally hit the UK later this month.

Premiered by BBC 6 Music, the new track arrives via GoodTalk / Create Music Group, pairing the band's trademark raw vocals and heavy guitars with a bigger, fuller sound. Produced alongside legendary producer Chris Lord-Alge, Tinted View was recorded during sessions for the band's forthcoming debut album.

The track came together almost by accident. After Lord-Alge mixed the band's previous single Say It Again, the group met him at his studio and were stunned when he offered to co-produce their debut alongside Jakob and Zane from Sublime.

The following day, they headed back to the garage and wrote Tinted View.

“I think the pressure actually helped us deliver what is one of our favorite songs on the upcoming album,” says singer and guitarist Danny Meza.

The single arrives off the back of a seriously fast rise for the LA four-piece. Their debut single Restless has now passed 75 million streams, while follow-ups Say It Again and Nothing Good have pushed the band further into the spotlight.

Support has already come from the likes of NME, Kerrang!, The Independent, The Line of Best Fit, Dork and So Young, while BBC 6 Music has placed the band on its B-list. They've also picked up plays from Apple Music's Matt Wilkinson and Radio X's John Kennedy.

Now they're taking that momentum across the Atlantic.

After supporting honestav on the US leg of The Sweet American Boy Tour, untitled will make their UK debut at Leeds Festival on 28 August, followed by Reading on 30 August and a run of headline shows across Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and London.

The UK dates include Night & Day in Manchester, King Tut's in Glasgow, Brudenell Social Club in Leeds and London's 100 Club.

For a band already making serious noise on the other side of the Atlantic, Tinted View feels like the perfect introduction to untitled's next chapter — and their first UK shows are unlikely to be quiet ones.
