STRAWBERRY PARX MAKE A BOLD DEBUT WITH ‘SEÑOR’

South London alt-pop newcomers Strawberry Parx are making their entrance with a seriously confident debut single, ‘Señor’.

Out now via APOLLO Distribution, the track delivers a punchy collision of 80s new wave attitude and modern alt-pop, with pounding drums, sharp guitar lines and an infectious electronic pulse. Produced by Jon Dix, ‘Señor’ draws on the rebellious spirit of Blondie and The Pretenders while giving the sound a distinctly contemporary edge.

Lyrically, the track turns the classic “good girl” narrative on its head, following a seemingly sweet character who reveals a far more confident, magnetic and unexpected side. The result is a playful, empowering introduction packed with attitude.

Hailing from Elephant & Castle in South London, Strawberry Parx blend colourful 80s new wave influences with modern pop songwriting, taking inspiration from vintage MTV and DIY punk culture.
