Organic New Music Friday #16

Welcome back to another round-up of the best new music released this week, from both Leeds and beyond.
Alt.Aire & Metropolitan Soul Museum - A Family Affair EP [Yellow Island Records]
Following their smashing BabyStep Cabin Fever episode, the London brothers are back for their debut EP A Family Affair. The tracks explore how music is passed down through generations and genres, all composed through live looping improvisation.
Check it out on Spotify below.

Darius the Barbarian & Cherriep - On Screen EP [Posse Up!]
Darius the Barbarian and Cherriep join forces for their new electro-meets-rap EP. It's a one of a kind sound, packed full of gritty beats and high energy.
You can preview the tracks via Posse Up! on SoundCloud now.

Dub Beans - Never EP
Dub Beans has treated us to 4-track EP Never, venturing through the darker, half-time sounds of jungle, footwork and DnB. "Expect a lot of crazy drum patterns and breaks, heavy distortions, acid sounds, hypnotising vocal chops and fast paced rhythms."
Never is out now on SoundCloud.

Roy Roy - Vagrant
Earlier this week we got the chance to speak to Roy Roy, a Leeds-based duo who released their debut single Vagrant yesterday. It's a hazy, Sunday-morning number, sonically resemblant of early days King Krule, embellished with fuzzy guitars and gritty vocals. Check it out below.

Celestial Being - Natural Progress [ME1 Records]
Kicking off ME1 Records' free download series is Celestial Being, a producer that's been hot on the releases the past year. Natural Progress ventures through the sounds of the 90s, delivering the hottest breaks to transport you to the dance-floor.
You can listen to Natural Progress on Soundcloud now.

Garneau - Dance Mania Mix
Comprising of 44 huge tracks across ghetto, house and tech, Garneau released his tribute to Dance Mania this week. Catch the hour-long mix down below on SoundCloud, featuring some of his favourite tracks from Deeon, Slugo, Parris Mitchel and DJ Milton.
