Myke Towers is back with “Carita Feliz”, a new single out now via Warner Music Latina that turns the familiar facade of looking fine into something far more honest.
Built around a deceptively warm melodic reggaeton groove, the track explores the gap between the face we show the world and what’s actually happening underneath. Rather than chasing another victory lap, Towers uses “Carita Feliz” to make space for vulnerability — and the simple admission that sometimes, you’re just not okay.
The release arrives alongside a cinematic short film starring Spanish actress Clara Galle, expanding the song into a visual story of isolation, connection and, ultimately, relief. More mini-narrative than traditional music video, the film mirrors the track’s emotional shift from keeping everything in to allowing someone else in.
“There are good days and days that aren’t so good,” Towers says of the song. “And being unwell is also okay. When you need someone, come find me.”
That openness lands differently coming from an artist operating at Towers’ scale. A four-time Latin GRAMMY nominee and one of Latin music’s biggest global stars, the Puerto Rican artist has racked up 16 Billboard Latin Airplay No. 1s, multi-platinum records across three continents and more than 42 million monthly Spotify listeners.
His momentum continued through 2025, when Towers topped Mediabase’s year-end charts in Contemporary Spanish and Tropical, received the Agente de Cambio Award at Premios Juventud for his philanthropic work with the Young Kingz Foundation, and released Island Boyz — a sprawling 23-track project featuring collaborators from Nigeria, Brazil, Mexico and Spain.
He also became the only Latin artist featured on the F1: The Album soundtrack and has continued to headline stadiums across Latin America.
But “Carita Feliz” feels deliberately removed from that scale. It’s a smaller, more intimate statement from an artist who has spent years operating at full volume — a reminder that behind the charts, stadiums and superstar status, everyone still has days when the smile doesn’t tell the whole story.
“Carita Feliz” is out now on all streaming platforms via Warner Music Latina.
