Liam Gallagher Announces Release of 'Knebworth 22' Live Album, Capturing Iconic Park Shows

Renowned rock legend Liam Gallagher is set to immortalize his triumphant two-night performances at Knebworth Park with the upcoming release of his highly anticipated live album, 'Knebworth 22,' slated for August 11th. Returning to the iconic venue that witnessed the era-defining Oasis gigs of the '90s, Gallagher's captivating presence united audiences spanning two generations, from loyal fans present 26 years ago to enthusiastic teenagers experiencing their first monumental concert.

The anticipation surrounding the shows reached a fever pitch as all 170,000 tickets for the weekend extravaganza sold out within moments. The electric atmosphere of the performances reverberates throughout the 'Knebworth 22' album, from the thunderous roar that greeted Gallagher as he kicked off the show with 'Hello' to the mass singalongs accompanying the closing anthems 'Wonderwall' and 'Champagne Supernova,' the latter featuring a special guest appearance by Stone Roses legend John Squire.

Backed by his talented band, Gallagher delivers a fiery and passionate performance, delivering exhilarating renditions of hits like 'Shockwave' and 'Everything's Electric' with unwavering intensity. The album also showcases the tender side of Gallagher's voice, shining brightly on reflective moments such as 'Once' and 'Slide Away.' Collectively, 'Knebworth 22' serves as an essential addition to any fan's collection, allowing them to relive the unforgettable experience.

Accompanying the album release is a captivating live video capturing the surprises from the weekend. The rendition of 'Roll It Over,' originally featured on Oasis' album 'Standing On The Shoulder of Giants,' stands out as a lesser-known fan favorite that the band never played live. This performance elevates the song to new heights, enveloping it in sweeping melancholic grandeur and showcasing Gallagher's vocals brimming with unadulterated passion.

Expressing his excitement about the release, Gallagher states, "So we recorded the Knebworth gigs we did last year. We all sound Biblical, turn it up ENJOY, LGx."

'Knebworth 22' is now available for pre-order or pre-save, offering a range of physical and digital formats including standard and deluxe CDs, black double-vinyl, and sun yellow double-vinyl.
