With 80M+ global streams, top chart placements across the US and Canada, and a co-sign from the likes of Ellie Goulding and Eurovision legend Loreen, Olivia Lunny isn’t just rising—she’s skyrocketing. Hot off her US radio debut with “Timezone” and the breakout success of “Fix This” on both the pop and independent charts, the Canadian hitmaker is proving her pop prowess on an international stage.
From the London Roundhouse to Electric Brixton, a SXSW spotlight, and tour stops alongside Tyler Shaw, Olivia’s trajectory is as bold as her sound. With her Velvet & Denim showcase lighting up LA’s Peppermint Club and her next single “HEAVEN” set to drop, the countdown to pop domination is officially on. As Notion put it: “Olivia Lunny is ready to cement herself in the charts.” Believe it.
This song has an edgy grit to it sonically and lyrically. When writing the “denim” leaning songs for my new album, I referenced this for production and was very inspired by the guitar tones in particular
This song has that moody, sexy summery vibe. I love how visceral Lana is with her lyrics and I aim to lyrically tell stories through the 5 senses like her. I love how nostalgic this song feels and I was inspired to capture the same feeling throughout the album.
There’s a timeless energy in this track. It inspired the more dreamy, feminine side of the album, the “velvet” side. It’s soft but powerful, which is something I tried to have that be a through line with the project.
This one lives in that space between heartbreak and glam. The production feels nostalgic but still fresh, and it really influenced some of the sonic textures on my new album. Also, that idea of dancing through your feelings…I relate to that.
