In review: RTRN II Dance at All Points East 2025

Chase & Status Command Victoria Park

Chase & Status commandeered Day 2 of All Points East on Saturday 16th August, turning Victoria Park into a full-throttle dance battleground with a line-up that read like a who’s-who of British electronic music.

Pounding beats and pyrotechnics set the tone from the start, with back-to-back DJ sets including Sherelle B2B Clipz and Dwarde B2B Tim Reaper keeping the energy sky-high. On the main stage, Chase & Status brought their signature drum & bass, grime, and hip-hop fusion, joined by special guests Tom Grennan, IRAH, Flowdan and Trigga, for classic collabs like ‘All Goes Wrong’ and festival anthems ‘Baddadan’ and ‘BACKBONE’ feat. Stormzy.

Grennan’s high-octane stage presence, paired with lasers, fireworks, and crowd-fuelled chants, made for a theatrical night, while MC Takura ensured the crowd stayed in full-on chaos mode: “Lose your f***ing shit. I want to see mayhem, I want to see carnage. London, bring the fucking chaos.”

Meanwhile, the East and West stages offered their own highlights. Overmono teamed with Kwengface for ‘Freedom 2’, Hamdi hyped the dubstep faithful, and Dimension brought the pyrotechnics-heavy drum & bass to a fever pitch. Late-afternoon sets from Joy Orbison and Nia Archives kept the momentum relentless.

With Chase & Status at the helm and a roster of top-tier selectors, All Points East 2025’s RTRN II Dance Takeover proved that London’s festival scene still thrives on high-energy, genre-blurring chaos.: RTRN II Dance Takeover
