FIA MOON ASKS ‘DON’T YOU EVER WANT MORE?’ ON NEW SINGLE ‘LEAVE THE HOUSE’

Dublin-born artist Fia Moon returns with ‘Leave The House’, a candid, quietly compelling new single that explores the pull of routine, the unpredictability of life and the possibilities waiting beyond our front doors. The latest preview of her forthcoming EP, the track arrives following recent appearances at Electric Picnic’s Coca-Cola Stage and Sasha Donnellan’s runway show at Ireland Fashion Week.
Built around live drums and organic instrumentation, ‘Leave The House’ retains the raw, intimate vocals of its original demo, allowing Fia’s observational songwriting to take centre stage. Moving from the minutiae of everyday life to bigger questions around time, relationships and missed opportunities, the track offers a gentle reminder that sometimes the only way to discover what life has to offer is to step outside and embrace the unknown.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the single, Fia explains: “The song came from a conversation about how easy it is to feel like there's nothing particularly exciting going on. I remember thinking, well, maybe you need to get out more? I think we can get so used to our own routines that we forget how much is happening outside of them.”
‘Leave The House’ follows previous singles ‘FIO’, ‘Analogue’ and ‘Cool Girl’, continuing the run-up to Fia’s second EP after her 2025 debut ‘Dear Loved’. With over six million streams as an independent artist, Spotify editorial support from New Pop UK and A Breath of Fresh Éire, and placements in Conversations with Friends and Love Island USA, Fia Moon is steadily carving out her own space.
Recent highlights include performances at Electric Picnic, Union Chapel and Ireland Fashion Week, while support from CLASH, Hot Press, RTÉ 2FM, BBC Introducing, The Irish Times and Record of the Day further underlines her growing profile.
