DRUCKER EMBRACES UNCERTAINTY ON NEW SINGLE ‘I’LL NEVER KNOW’

Montreal singer-songwriter Drucker explores the vulnerability of reaching for connection without knowing where it will lead on his evocative new single, ‘I’ll Never Know’. Out now, the track marks the first taste of his forthcoming second EP and signals the start of a new chapter.
Built around warm acoustic guitar, understated production and haunting lap steel, ‘I’ll Never Know’ pairs intimate folk songwriting with a spacious, atmospheric sound. Drucker’s vocals take centre stage, capturing the push and pull of trying to reconnect with someone when there’s no guarantee the feeling will be returned.
Drawing on the emotional intensity of Sam Fender and Jeff Buckley, Drucker brings a distinctly personal edge to his nostalgic, post-folk sound. Rather than offering neat resolutions, ‘I’ll Never Know’ leans into uncertainty — finding beauty in the unanswered questions and the courage it takes to try again.
The single introduces a forthcoming EP centred on an outsider caught between loneliness, romance and the relentless pursuit of connection. Inspired by the myth of Sisyphus, the project follows the cycle of pushing forward, falling back and choosing to begin again. ‘I’ll Never Know’ captures that spirit in its most vulnerable form.
Following May 2026’s See Myself Out, which earned Spotify editorial playlisting, SiriusXM North Americana and The Verge support, alongside coverage from Ones To Watch, FAULT, House of Solo and BabyStep, Drucker continues to build momentum across Canada and beyond.
With further releases planned into 2027 and a UK run in the works, Drucker is set to take his emotionally charged songwriting to new audiences. He heads to Toronto for a show at Burdock Music Hall on 24 October, before a run of Canadian dates in November.
