London’s iKeda is back with a bold new chapter. The multidisciplinary artist has released her sophomore EP, Bangs N Braces, alongside the official video for the whistle-led, ritualistic club cut “Tiger Tiger.”
Blending UK club music, electro-pop, dancehall, garage and alternative influences, the six-track EP sees iKeda diving headfirst into a surreal, shape-shifting world of distorted electronics, chant-led hooks and recurring symbols — from white rabbits and kittens to pyramids and whispered urban legends.
Directed by longtime creative collaborator Erika Kamano, the “Tiger Tiger” video turns a classic English tea party into a full-blown fever dream, with iKeda taking centre stage inside an ornate manor as the atmosphere becomes increasingly delirious.
Bangs N Braces follows a breakout year for the London artist, including a run supporting PinkPantheress across the UK and Europe and an appearance on the artist’s NTS Victory Lap Cypher. Created with collaborators including producer Tailtiu, Erika Kamano and Babymorocco, the project brings together music, movement, styling and visual art into one distinct creative universe.
“I wasn’t trying to fit into one genre or one idea,” iKeda says. “I wanted to follow my instincts and let all the different parts of me exist in the same place.”
With Bangs N Braces, iKeda makes her most confident statement yet: playful, unpredictable and entirely in a world of her own.
