Lorde took over Victoria Park on Saturday night for one of the most anticipated days in All Points East's 2026 calendar,
bringing lasers, dancers, huge visuals and a set packed with some of her biggest songs.
Opening with a snippet of Royals, the two-time Grammy and BRIT Award winner quickly established the scale of the night. Supercut and Team landed early, while the production grew increasingly ambitious as the set unfolded.
“This is the best lineup I’ve ever been part of,” Lorde told the crowd, having personally curated the day's bill.
The relationship between Lorde and All Points East goes back to the festival's very first edition in 2018, when she played Victoria Park aged just 21. Returning to the site eight years later, she reflected on her previous visit — and offered the crowd some advice.
“Bring your crush to Victoria Park. There’s magic here,” she told the crowd.
The set shifted between huge dancefloor moments and more stripped-back performances. Lights flashed across her suit during Man Of The Year, before Girl So Confusing gave way to the deep-house pulse of Green Light.
Later, Lorde introduced David as a song about “trying to find my power”, while a huge banner moved through the crowd reading: “I don’t belong to anyone."
The night ended with Ribs, introduced as “the oldest, most precious song we have.”
Lorde wasn't the only major draw. Earlier in the day, Djo closed the West Stage with tracks from his acclaimed 2025 album The Crux, including Delete Ya and Basic Being Basic. He also gave a shout-out to Stranger Things co-star Charlie Heaton, who was watching from the crowd.
Over at the North Arena, PinkPantheress delivered one of the day's most anticipated sets, while Zara Larsson brought out PinkPantheress for the first-ever live performance of Stateside together. Larsson also welcomed MNEK during Shadows, before closing with Midnight Sun.
Elsewhere, 2hollis, Sienna Spiro, Oklou and Erin LeCount were among the day's standout performances, with the festival's sprawling line-up giving emerging artists plenty of room alongside its biggest names.
The crowd itself was packed with familiar faces, including Millie Bobby Brown, Jake Bongiovi, Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson and Louis Partridge.
But ultimately, Saturday belonged to Lorde — an artist returning to the same London park where she helped launch All Points East eight years ago, now headlining a day built around her own vision.
And judging by the response, the wait was worth it.
