Iceland Airwaves completes the ultimate winter festival Lineup today!



Iceland Airwaves has today announced a fresh round of names today to complete the line up for 2022.


The final acts joining the bill include Icelandic stars Vök, Bríet, Supersport!, The Vintage Caravan, Systur, Júníus Meyvant, Hollywood film score composer Atli Örvarsson and exciting international names such as Ukrainian Eurovision superstars Go_A, Finnish electro accordionist Antti Paalanen, Grammy Award-winning Pakistani artist Arooj Aftab and Scottish-Sudanese musician Eliza Shaddad and more.


80 acts from over 15 countries are ready to go for this highly anticipated edition of Iceland Airwaves, and with the new additions the festival's day splits and day tickets have now been released. With so much to explore around downtown Reykjavík, and even a brand new volcano erupting for the occasion, Iceland Airwaves 2022 is clearly the hottest ticket in Europe, already drawing thousands from across the Atlantic and all around the continent. What could be considered a once-in-a-lifetime trip has so many music and travel lovers returning year after year for this magical gathering in Iceland’s capital city.




Highlights from the lineup each day include Amyl & The Sniffers, Júníus Meyvant, Daughters of Reykjavík, Nation of Language, JFDR and Laufey taking place across various venues on Thursday 3rd November, before Metronomy, HAM, Altin Gun, Emotional Oranges, Unusual Demont, Ultraflex, Janus Rasmussen, Chiild and Sóley take to the stage on Friday, with Arlo Parks, Röyksopp (DJ Set), Go_A, VöK, THUMPER, The Vintage Caravan, ÁrnýMargrét and more to close the show on Saturday 5th.
