Eliza Lovise Shares Darkly Dreamy New Single ‘Singing That Tune’

Margate-born rising star Eliza Lovise returns with ‘Singing That Tune’, a darkly captivating indie rock-pop single that pairs hazy nostalgia with an unsettling edge.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer follows August’s ‘My Love Gets Around’ with a track that showcases her knack for balancing infectious melodies with a darker undercurrent. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Morrissey, Kate Bush and Lana Del Rey, Lovise is carving out a distinctive sound that feels both familiar and intriguingly off-kilter.
Written, recorded, produced and mixed entirely at home by Lovise, ‘Singing That Tune’ explores the feeling of searching for that one person in everyone who comes along. Its light, swaying melody contrasts with more foreboding lyrics, creating the kind of track that feels like a long-lost favourite from the very first listen.
Lovise handles vocals, guitar and keyboards on the single, with Robert Stephens on bass and Ben Cutlan contributing drum production. Her understated vocal delivery and carefully layered harmonies add to the track’s dreamy, slightly unnerving atmosphere.
With ‘Singing That Tune’, Eliza Lovise continues to establish herself as an independent artist with a clear creative vision and a sound all her own.
