Berlin Club Berghain to Reopen as Art Gallery

Iconic Berlin Club Berghain is set to reopen, but for now, as an art gallery.

With the pandemic greatly restricting large gatherings, and hence limiting what venues like Berghain can do, foundation of art collectors Christian and Karen Boros have taken it upon themselves to create this new project, with ticket sale contributing to keeping the venue going during lockdown.

The exhibition with feature work from a variety of Berlin artists, including Wolfgang Tillmans, Sandra Mujinga, Tacita Dean, and more. The group show, titled Studio Berlin, will be using the mina room, the Panorama Bar and Säule, making full use of the 3500-square-meter venue.
