Welcome back to another Friday, meaning a fresh round-up of music to see you through the weekend. This week, we have a lively collection of premiers and mixes from Leeds and beyond.



Woolfson - Sagas


Sagas is the debut solo project from Leeds-based producer Woolfson, released on record label Dog Tapes. This bedroom-produced, lofi tune features a delicate beat and a euphonic selection of synths. Watch out for more from Woolfson on Dog Tapes' next compilation, out on the 30th March.

Alex Zander - Test My Aim [Gimme a Break Records]


The GAB boys return with another Edit Room this week, welcoming Alex Zander with his massive acid-meets-electro dub of Still Sittin’ Here, by Dizzee Rascal and Fekky. The Leeds-based DJ and producer has been making serious movements over the year, co-owning new label Basement Labs and getting featured on PartiBoi's Spotify playlist.

Young Muscle - Beat Up By The Drum [Scuffed Recordings]


Scuffed Recordings bring you the final track to Young Muscle's debut EP, Beat Up By The Drum. The three-track release is infused with broken techno, breaks, bass and electronic. Released on the 19th March, this EP was born for the club.

Emerald - Rinse FM Show 06 March 2021


BBC host and DJ Emerald has absolutely smashed her latest Rinse FM show, with an hour of her favourite new tunes. Spanning cross UKG, electro and breaks, this is not one to miss.

Sicaria Sound - Binate EP


Sicaria Sound traverse the genres with their debut EP Binate, incorporating experiments in dubstep, hip hop and their African and Arab heritage throughout the 4-track release. The producer-and-sister-duo have absolutely killed it with this 140 EP, which you can purchase on Bandcamp below.

Robin Tase - GHETTOMOUSE PART II


Dortmund-based DJ and producer Robin Tase treated us to an hour of ghetto-tech tunes this week, speeding through tracks from Nova Cheq, High Fidelity and Amadeezy.
