Out November 20 on Kindergarten Records, No One Moves Alone marks the first collaboration between Bristol’s percussive futurist Hodge and New York’s cosmic club innovator Ma Sha. Born from a spontaneous Montreal studio session following their debut live sets at MUTEK 2025, the four-track EP fuses UK bass-driven grit with experimental, otherworldly rhythms.
The project captures the spark of their first back-to-back performance at Piknic Électronik, described by Ma Sha as “lightning in a bottle.” Hodge adds, “Ma Sha’s energy made the creativity flow instantly. We both just followed where the sound wanted to go.”
Tracks like Middle Ground, Rill, and Oboro weave warped percussion, hypnotic synths, and immersive basslines, reflecting a brief but intense period of improvisation, connection, and mutual trust. The EP is a vivid snapshot of two boundary-pushing producers in sync, bridging Bristol’s underground energy and New York’s kaleidoscopic club scene.
Released on Ma Sha’s award-winning Kindergarten label, the EP continues the label’s legacy as a hub for adventurous, genre-blurring dance music. It’s a bold statement from two artists at the forefront of electronic experimentation — perfect for fans of high-energy, physically compelling club music.
