Leeds Party Braindance Returns To Eiger Studios

When Hyde Park Book Club and Eiger Studios announced their combined party venture last year, we were certainly excited. Their plans came to fruition in late December with their debut event, inviting Bakey, Phasmid, Lila, Bertie and Zuki down to the space for what was packed, intimate night of great electronic music.

Following on from this resounding success, the Braindance crew are back once again. This Saturday, they grace Eiger studios for a second time.

Talking about the night, head honcho Lila said 'The second ever Braindance is focussing on dancehall and UK Funky! Our headliner Mina, known for syncopated rhythms and very high energy, is a very fitting and exciting addition to the Hyde Park Book Club resident DJ's who are supporting her, Afroshake, Taygo, and Lila. You would have heard her production played in sets all around Leeds for years. It is unbeatable. This is going to be a night of percussive sounds, good vocals, and lots of dancing.'

Braindance have stressed that whilst they are putting on events, there's plenty more to come: 'Due to the grassroots and organic values behind both venues, Braindance aims to make an appearance in the physical world, as well as online, through selling affordable paper tickets behind the Book Club bar. Look forward to more intellectual aspects growing from the events, including interviews and articles, which will highlight the "brain" behind the "dance"!'
