KLEIN ANNOUNCES SLEEP WITH A CANE DELUXE — EXCLUSIVE 3LP WHITE/BLACK-SPLATTER VINYL + NEW VIDEOS “AMONGST US” & “VIP ON 10”

 Outsider musician, experimental auteur, and multidisciplinary force Klein has announced the deluxe edition of her acclaimed mixtape sleep with a cane — arriving exclusively as a 3LP white-with-black-splatter vinyl and via Bandcamp. The reveal lands alongside two striking new visuals: the orchestral standalone piece “amongst us” and the theatrical, monologue-driven “VIP on 10.”

The announcement deepens a landmark year for Klein, fresh off contributing to the score for Kahlil Joseph’s debut feature film BLKNWS: Terms & Conditions. The expanded edition sharpens the vision of the original tape — a UK rap record refracted through ambient production, folklore, and the lived hyper-awareness of self-surveillance. Written, produced, and performed entirely by Klein (with features from Ecco2k and Space Afrika), the project continues her radical reinvention of form.

Early teasers included her dramatic Psalms Trust Vol. 2–adapted video for “VIP on 10”, starring bee bee smith, and the atmospheric visual for “amongst us”, which appears as a bonus on the vinyl edition. The deluxe release follows thirteen sense (2025), marked (2024), touched by an angel (2023), and the internationally toured Harmattan (2021) on classical imprint Pentatone — proving Klein’s relentless pace and shape-shifting artistry.

Her resume remains one of the most striking in contemporary experimental music: collaborations with Mica Levi, Fred Moten, Caroline Polachek, Mark Leckey, and a handpicked tour slot with Björk.
