Harry Jay Robinson New Track navigates through life with new single The Gauntlet

Dream Rap’ artist and producer Harry Jay Robinson brings together lo-fi production, smooth vocal samples and philosophical reflections on the second single from his upcoming EP, due for release on 29th June 2022.

Harry says: “This is a song about those moments where you look at your life and wonder what would have happened if you’d made any number of different choices. Anything from paying more attention in French lessons at school, to choosing a different career, to not breaking up with someone. This song is about those overwhelming times where you contemplate all of the hypothetical universes where things turned out differently.”

Described as “Sublime” by Abbie McCarthy (BBC Introducing), Harry has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response to a string of releases since debuting in February of 2019. His first single You Are Not Charles Bukowski has since racked up over a million streams to date on Spotify alone, with no management or label backing.

Also known for moonlighting as the touring keys player for indie band Far Caspian, Harry’s solo project is already making its own impact. Picking up coverage on viral publisher UNILAD Sound, support from BBC Introducing, Euphoria magazine and La Belle Musique, Harry is now rolling out his second EP, carving out his distinct ‘Dream

Rap’ sound with a unique blend of lo-fi hip-hop, jazz, R&B and indie.
