LP shares empowering new anthem 'Best In Life' ahead of eighth studio album Room 12

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter LP has unveiled soaring new single 'Best In Life', the latest preview of their
forthcoming eighth studio album Room 12, arriving 2nd September.
Following the emotionally charged 'Love Is All I Have', the new track continues to showcase the deeply personal themes that underpin Room 12. Built around uplifting melodies and LP's unmistakable vocals, 'Best In Life' is an anthem of self-acceptance, celebrating authenticity and finding fulfilment by embracing who you truly are.
"'Best In Life' is about getting the most out of life by being exactly who you are and doing what makes you happy," LP explains. "Not adhering to the social norms and what society dictates is the way to live your life."
Co-written by LP and Andrew Berkeley Martin, with production from Mike Del Rio and Martin, the single pairs heartfelt lyricism with expansive production, reinforcing LP's gift for turning deeply personal reflections into universally resonant pop.
The release builds anticipation for Room 12, which marks LP's eighth studio album and follows a career that has seen the singer-songwriter become one of alternative pop's most distinctive voices. Since the global breakthrough of 'Lost On You'—which topped charts in 18 countries and has surpassed one billion Spotify streams—LP has amassed more than three billion streams worldwide while cultivating a devoted international following.
The new music arrives as LP prepares to embark on their 'All Is Not Lost' World Tour, which includes headline UK dates at London's O2 Brixton Academy and Manchester Apollo. Celebrating a decade of Lost On You, the shows will feature brand-new material from Room 12 alongside a special performance of the landmark album in full.
With 'Best In Life', LP offers another stirring glimpse into what promises to be one of their most heartfelt records yet—an uplifting reminder that the best life is one lived entirely on your own terms.
