Annabelle Chairlegs shares new single ahead of dates with Ty Segall in Europe

Austin psych-rock favourite Annabelle Chairlegs has shared 'I Feel So Mad', a blistering new single lifted from the vinyl edition of her acclaimed latest album Waking Up, now available digitally for the first time.
Originally exclusive to the physical release, 'I Feel So Mad' distils frustration, isolation and restless energy into a whirlwind of fuzzed-out guitars, garage-rock grit and psychedelic hooks. It's another striking example of Lindsey Mackin's ability to balance sweetness with menace, pairing diaristic lyricism with a gloriously ragged sonic punch.
"When you can't hear yourself think. The boys are talkin' too loud. Now get in the car we're driving around like the girlies in Death Proof," Mackin says of the track.
Produced by Ty Segall and recorded in Topanga, California, Waking Up marks a bold new chapter for the Austin songwriter. Blending warped folk melodies, scuzzy garage rock and kaleidoscopic psychedelia, the album has drawn widespread praise for its fearless songwriting and magnetic atmosphere, further cementing Annabelle Chairlegs as one of the underground's most compelling voices.
The release arrives ahead of an extensive UK and European headline tour, which includes appearances at Brighton Psych Fest and Manchester Psych Fest, alongside headline dates in London, Bristol, Glasgow and Paris. Chairlegs will also join Ty Segall for special shows in Amsterdam and Brussels, bringing her acclaimed live band to audiences across the continent.
Since emerging with a sound that effortlessly fuses garage rock, psych-pop and noir-tinged Americana, Annabelle Chairlegs has earned a devoted cult following and praise from the likes of MOJO, Uncut, Record Collector, The Guardian and Shindig!. With 'I Feel So Mad' now unleashed beyond its vinyl-only origins, Mackin continues to prove she's one of modern psych-rock's most distinctive and unpredictable songwriters.
