HANNAH LAING UNVEILS DEEPLY PERSONAL NEW SINGLE‘HAVE YOU EVER LOVED (ELLIE)’

Scottish dance music powerhouse Hannah Laing returns today with ‘Have You Ever Loved (Ellie)’, a soaring, deeply personal single that cuts straight to the emotional core of her artistry. After exploring darker techno territory on this summer’s Into The Bounce EP, Laing pivots back to the euphoric pulse of trance — a sound that has shaped her journey from the very beginning.

Built for peak-time dancefloors, the track explodes with stunning, sweeping vocals from Hannah Boleyn, lifted over Laing’s urgent, hard-hitting production. The result is a tidal wave of emotion: sky-rising drops, hands-in-the-air breakdowns and the relentless energy of her unmistakable ‘doof doof’ signature. Raw, riveting and impossible to stand still to, it’s a tribute carved directly from the heart.

Dedicated to her late best friend Ellie, the release marks one of Laing’s most personal moments yet.Hannah says:“I’m releasing a song to honour my lifelong best mate, someone I tragically lost in July… Trance has always been my roots, and while I love exploring other genres, nothing captures emotion or makes me feel the way trance does.”

The single lands as Laing continues her meteoric rise. Fresh from a sold-out 15,000-capacity Doof In The Park in her hometown and a residency at Hï Ibiza, she has rapidly evolved from Dundee dental nurse to one of the UK’s most in-demand DJs. Her explosive sets have taken her to Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Longitude, ASOT London, and shows alongside Armin van Buuren, among many others — cementing her reputation as a fierce new voice in euphoric hard dance.

With 3M+ monthly listeners, a UK Top 10 hit with the platinum-selling Good Love (137M+ streams), and a globe-spanning tour schedule, Hannah Laing stands as one of electronic music’s most compelling breakthrough artists — self-made, emotionally fearless, and unstoppable.
