fingerbleed Returns With Atmospheric New Single ‘433’

Amsterdam-based producer, guitarist and songwriter fingerbleed returns with “433,” a hazy, atmospheric new single released via Avant Garden Records.

Following his debut double A-side “About Us / PROTO,” the Nijmegen-born artist takes a more reflective route on “433.” Built from layered electronics, distorted textures and guitar, the track moves with an understated momentum, occupying the space between dreamlike pop, experimental electronic music and the raw, guitar-led edge that has become central to fingerbleed’s sound.

There is a weightlessness to “433” on first listen, but beneath its melodic surface sits a persistent sense of tension. Breathy vocals and shimmering production give the track a late-night quality, while its rhythmic pulse keeps it moving forward. Rather than committing to a single genre, fingerbleed uses atmosphere and texture as the connective tissue, creating something both intimate and expansive.

The song is rooted in a formative period of fingerbleed’s life, when he began questioning the expectations placed around him and thinking seriously about forging his own path.

“433 is about the beginning of choosing my path, together with the people around me during our teenage years,” fingerbleed explains. That idea is reflected directly in the track’s construction. Acoustic guitar — a nod to his father’s musical world — is blended with electronic sounds inspired by the music he discovered and loved as a teenager. The result brings together two sides of his upbringing and musical identity, turning a personal moment of self-discovery into something more universal.

“433” follows “About Us / PROTO,” the double A-side that introduced fingerbleed’s project earlier this year. The release showcased two contrasting sides of his sound, with “About Us” leaning hazy and euphoric while “PROTO” pushed into darker, more distorted territory. The record earned a place on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Dance and early support from tastemakers including LADYGUNN, House of Solo, Ones To Watch and Noctis.

If that debut established the breadth of fingerbleed’s palette, “433” explores what happens in the middle ground. It is less concerned with maximum impact and more interested in atmosphere, memory and the emotional space between moments. The track offers a closer look at the artist behind the heavier production — reflective, restless and constantly searching for ways to merge electronic futurism with something recognisably human.

That collision has been central to fingerbleed’s musical identity. Raised in Nijmegen in a Turkish immigrant family with roots in Istanbul, he grew up surrounded by contrasting musical references, from the guitar-driven sounds of The Beatles and John Frusciante to Daft Punk, The Prodigy and the Turkish psychedelic music associated with his family background.

His route into electronic production came later. After moving to Amsterdam in his early twenties alongside a close group of artist friends, fingerbleed began experimenting with Ableton, developing his sound largely in isolation. The bedroom studio became a place to translate personal experiences and emotions into music, gradually shaping the project that would become fingerbleed.

That journey now feeds into his forthcoming debut EP, Instant Gratification. The project explores the immediate emotional impact of music — the rush of hearing something and connecting with it instantly — while bringing together the guitars, psychedelic influences and electronic production that define his sonic world.

With “433,” fingerbleed continues to build that world one layer at a time. It is a quieter transmission than his debut, but no less purposeful: a song about breaking away, finding direction and looking ahead while still carrying pieces of where you came from.

“433” is out now via Avant Garden Records.
