Bandit Heart Returns With Dreamy New Single "Twirl"

Nashville singer-songwriter Bandit Heart is back with "Twirl," a lush new single that drifts effortlessly between indie pop, alternative country and Americana, delivering a cinematic ode to love and late-summer freedom.

Out now via APOLLO Distribution, "Twirl" wraps warm melodies, sweeping strings and shimmering instrumentation around Bandit Heart's intimate songwriting, creating an expansive soundscape that feels both nostalgic and transportive. Layering piano, mellotron, electric guitar, glockenspiel, xylophone and synthesiser, the track builds from delicate orchestration into a rich, dreamlike crescendo.

Speaking about the release, Bandit Heart says: "'Twirl' is an expression of the freedom found in love. A song for the desert drive on a late August evening. A jukebox song long-forgotten."

The new single follows the release of his third album, BABY, earlier this year and continues to showcase the Nashville native's ability to blur genre boundaries. Drawing inspiration from the cinematic storytelling of Sufjan Stevens and the sweeping emotion of Lana Del Rey, Bandit Heart occupies a space where singer-songwriter intimacy meets widescreen indie pop.

With "Twirl," Bandit Heart delivers another beautifully crafted chapter in his evolving catalogue, pairing timeless melodies with vivid, atmospheric production that's tailor-made for long summer evenings and open-road escapes.
