Apollo Junction Set To Release New Single 'On The Ropes'

Few can lay claim to mastering their craft at such an early stage, yet Leeds five-piece Apollo Junction are making some serious noise after relentless hard work over the last 18 months. Ready to unveil the next part of their highly anticipated second album, the new single ‘On the Ropes’ kickstarts the new year with a real statement of intent, and it’s available from the 22nd of January.

Renowned for their explosive sound, it’s easy to hear why Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins, and Graham Norton are fans. Fusing 90s Britpop with synth-led alt-rock, Apollo Junction causes a ruckus both on and off the stage, and their new single is no exception.

Featuring euphoric synth stabs, a rumbling bassline, intricate guitar work, and arena-sized vocals, ‘On the Ropes’ is both nostalgic and futuristic. With a properly heavy chorus, infectious lyrics, and inimitable energy from the get-go, this one is the only way to start 2021.
