Judah & The Lion Embrace Nostalgia on New Single 'Gravel Roads' Ahead of Sixth Album I AM A PRISM

Nashville duo Judah & The Lion have shared heartfelt new single 'Gravel Roads', the latest preview of their forthcoming sixth studio album, I AM A PRISM, arriving August 14 via Dualtone Records.

Bursting with infectious hooks, pop-country charm and small-town nostalgia, 'Gravel Roads' celebrates life's simplest moments, from porch swings and football games to sweet tea and winding backroads. The feel-good anthem follows a run of introspective releases, offering a warm reminder that home is often found in the people who matter most.

Alongside 'Gravel Roads', the band have also unveiled 'As The Crow', an emotional fan favourite already making an impact during live performances. Written in the aftermath of losing two people close to him in the same week, frontman Judah Akers describes the song as one of the most personal he's ever written, reflecting on grief, healing and finding peace in life's unanswered questions.

The new tracks continue to build anticipation for I AM A PRISM, a 12-song collection that marks a fresh chapter for the duo. Produced alongside Grammy Award-nominated Jeremy Lutito (NEEDTOBREATHE, Michigander) and mixed by Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis), the album finds Akers and Brian Macdonald reflecting on 15 years together while celebrating resilience, fatherhood, friendship and the everyday moments that give life meaning.

The release follows the success of 'Maybe The Best Is Now', which gained widespread attention after featuring in World Cup coverage, including a segment with football superstar Erling Haaland. The track has already surpassed one million streams, adding to the band's remarkable catalogue of more than 900 million global streams, a No. 1 radio hit with 'Take It All Back', and appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Good Morning America.

Following the album's release, Judah & The Lion will embark on a nearly 40-date North American headline tour, beginning in Knoxville, Tennessee on September 17 and culminating with a hometown finale at The Pinnacle in Nashville on November 13.

With I AM A PRISM, Judah & The Lion look back at where they began while confidently stepping into a new era—one built on gratitude, hope and the enduring power of human connection.
