Honest Work Announce Debut EP Another Broken Glass, Share Explosive New Single 'The Final Prose'

London alt-rock quartet Honest Work have announced their debut EP, Another Broken Glass, arriving 23 September, alongside the release of blistering new single 'The Final Prose' and a run of UK headline dates this autumn.
The second preview of the forthcoming EP, The Final Prose captures the band's raw, live energy in full force. Driven by crunching guitars, thunderous drums and towering choruses, the track balances grunge-fuelled intensity with an undercurrent of emotional vulnerability, cementing Honest Work as one of the capital's most exciting emerging rock bands.
Recorded live at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios with producer Xavier Sinden (Punchlove, silt.) and tracked straight to a vintage 1970s tape machine, the single embraces an unfiltered analogue sound that reflects the band's visceral live performances.
"The Final Prose is about affirmation feeling out of reach, and feeling the frustration of that," the band explain. "We are a live band and this song really reflects that, so being able to record all together in one go to tape kept that energy and helped translate the unfiltered emotion to the record."
The announcement follows the band's debut single, Horses For Meat, which earned early support from DORK, DIY, CLASH, Far Out, The Line of Best Fit and Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music, quickly establishing Honest Work as one to watch on the UK's thriving alternative scene.
Featuring members of Saloon Dion and Lemondaze, Honest Work have built a formidable reputation on London's grassroots circuit, sharing stages with Westside Cowboy, Home Counties, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, FEET and Grandma's House, while also appearing at festivals including Left of the Dial, East London Block Party and Outer Town.
To celebrate the release of Another Broken Glass, the band will embark on a series of UK headline shows this autumn, bringing their acclaimed live show to Bristol, London, Hereford, Port Talbot and Newport, alongside a support slot with Martial Arts in Bedford.
With Another Broken Glass, Honest Work deliver a debut that channels the grit of '90s alt-rock, the weight of modern post-punk and the immediacy of classic guitar music, marking the arrival of a band determined to keep raw, uncompromising rock music alive.
