ALICE SK STEPS INTO THE SPOTLIGHT WITH CINEMATIC NEW EP HOLLYWOOD SUNSET

London-based indie-folk storyteller Alice SK unveils Hollywood Sunset, a vivid, narrative-driven EP that cements her status as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging voices. Blending indie, folk, and pop with her unmistakable raspy warmth, Alice paints a widescreen portrait of longing, heartbreak, and heady new romance — all with a playful, theatrical charm.

The five-track collection unfolds like a coming-of-age film reel. Opening with an intro that sweeps listeners into the title track, Hollywood Sunset captures the rush of the “fantasy fall” — that dizzy moment when a stranger across the room becomes the star of an imagined love story. From there, Alice dips into heartbreak on the melancholic Full Bloom in Spring, before lifting into the tender curiosity of When You Leave, a song about wanting to peel back the layers of someone new.

The EP closes with Hurricane, a powerful, avant-garde finale built on grand piano and twin cellos. Reflecting the light and darkness within us all, the track rises and crashes like an emotional tide, landing on acceptance — a fitting “end credits” moment for the project’s cinematic arc.

Hollywood Sunset arrives via APOLLO Distribution and follows Alice’s headline EP launch show at Signature Brew Haggerston last night, where fans heard the full release live for the very first time.
