The New Colossus Festival Announces 2027 Lineup With 75+ Artists

The New Colossus Festival is heading back to New York City for its eighth edition, taking over the Lower East Side from March 9–14, 2027 with the first wave of more than 75 artists.
The festival’s 2027 edition will feature around 200 showcasing artists from across the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia, Asia and beyond, continuing its focus on connecting emerging independent artists with audiences and industry across borders.
The first wave includes an international mix of Agatha Is Dead!, Big Fear, Birds of Prrrey, COOL HEAT, Floats, Joan Page, Our Shame, Out Run, Smag På Dig Selv, Soft, Spangled, TV Buddha and Wulfer, alongside dozens more.
Spread across 12 venues throughout the historic Lower East Side, the festival turns the neighbourhood into a walkable network of intimate stages, with participating venues including Arlene’s Grocery, Baker Falls, Berlin, Bowery Palace, Niagara, Nublu, Pianos and more.
Since launching in 2019, The New Colossus has featured more than 1,000 artists, with alumni including Baby Queen, FEET, GIFT, NOBRO, Penelope Isles, Personal Trainer, Pom Poko, The K’s, The Orielles and Water From Your Eyes.
Away from the stages, the 2027 edition will also feature Colossal Conversations, a daytime programme of industry panels focused on career sustainability, international touring and the future of the independent music economy.
With another huge international lineup set to descend on Manhattan next March, The New Colossus Festival continues to position the Lower East Side as a meeting point for the next wave of independent music.
The New Colossus Festival takes place March 9–14, 2027 in New York City.
