The Great Leslie Release Live At Abbey Road Album

The Great Leslie is not merely a band; it's a powerhouse of ideas—ideas that spawn discussions and create a whirlwind of creative fervor. The misfit ensemble, comprising Ollie Trevers (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Ryan Lavender (Drums), Alfie Pawsey (Bass), and Freddie Miles (Lead Guitar), defies norms to craft an unmissable musical experience. It's not just a band; it's an "ideas ideas idea," and it's set to conquer the world, one guitar chord at a time.

In 2022, The Great Leslie saw unprecedented success, steering their sound in a fresh direction with singles like 'Feel Alive,' 'Liquid Spells,' and 'All Good Things.' Each track found its place on Apple Editorial playlist 'New in Rock,' spanning various global locations. 'Feel Alive' marked the band's Spotify Editorial debut, landing a spot on the coveted 'Hot New Bands' playlist, showcasing the best in UK Indie Rock. 'All Good Things' achieved even greater heights, earning placements on multiple Tidal playlists and claiming a spot on 'UK Indie: Best of 2022.'

The band garnered continued support from industry heavyweights, including Amazing Radio, Clash magazine, Noctis, Fizzy Mag, A1234, Ones To Watch, and more. 'Feel Alive' secured the title of 'Track of the Day' by Gigslutz and This Feeling, with airplay on Radio X and Kerrang! Radio from John Kennedy and Johnny Doom.

The pinnacle of 2022 was The Great Leslie sharing the stage with iconic acts like Franz Ferdinand, a career-defining moment that unfolded during the European leg of the latter's tour. However, this stellar year follows a trajectory set in 2020 when The Great Leslie emerged during lockdown, releasing their debut single, which swiftly became BBC Introducing's Track of the Week. The band's trajectory continued in 2021 with songs earning accolades and support from Janice Long on BBC Wales and John Kennedy on Radio X.

The momentum surged in 2022 as The Great Leslie dropped their debut EP, 'The End and The Beginning,' featuring lead single 'Can't Touch.' The track soared to prominence, securing spots on major Spotify Editorial Playlists and gaining airplay on AmazingRadio and BBC Introducing. The EP's success continued with 'Get In,' reaching Number 2 on iTunes Alternative Charts and topping aBreak 58. The EP's tracks dominated BBC Introducing and even made a splash on British reality TV show 'Made In Chelsea.'

The band's second EP, '21st Century Problems,' cemented their reputation, drawing acclaim from industry figures like Simon Le Bon, BBC Introducing, and XSManchester. Now, The Great Leslie is set to captivate audiences with their highly anticipated live album, recorded at the iconic Studio 2 at Abbey Road. Frontman Ollie Trevers expresses the band's profound gratitude for the experience, calling it a dream come true. The live album promises to be an intense, exhilarating, and prideful culmination of their musical journey.
