Tate McRae has released the deluxe edition of her No. 1 album So Close To What. The expanded project, titled SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe), is out now via Ministry of Sound/RCA and arrives with five new songs, including her recent hit “TIT FOR TAT.”
“TIT FOR TAT” debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming McRae’s third Top 10 entry. The deluxe edition also features “NOBODY’S GIRL,” “ANYTHING BUT LOVE,” “TRYING ON SHOES,” and “HORSESHOE.” Alongside the release, McRae has shared the music video for “NOBODY’S GIRL,” directed by Thibaut Grevet and choreographed by French collective (LA)HORDE.
The full tracklist for the deluxe edition includes 21 songs, incorporating all the tracks from the original album as well as the five new additions. The release follows McRae’s recent Miss Possessive Arena Tour, which sold out more than 80 shows worldwide and moved over one million tickets across Latin America, Europe, the UK, and North America. The tour drew strong reviews, with Rolling Stone describing it as “a manic pop-glitz spectacle,” and The New York Times praising McRae’s focus on dance and performance.
McRae has accumulated more than 20.8 billion streams to date and earned multiple major accolades, including two Artist of the Year wins at the JUNO Awards. Her catalogue includes global hits such as “you broke me first” and “greedy,” the latter topping the Billboard Global 200 and Spotify’s Global chart.
Earlier this year, her third studio album So Close To What debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Several tracks from the album, including “Revolving door” and “It’s ok I’m ok,” have also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart.
SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe) is available now on all major streaming platforms.
