Karléh Turns Break-Up Energy Into a Bold New Anthem With ‘Better Off’
The pop-soul artist teams up with SoCandy on a confident, trap-infused track about moving on, knowing your worth and levelling up.
Karléh is back with ‘Better Off’, a punchy new hip-hop release featuring SoCandy that turns post-break-up clarity into a statement of self-worth. Out now via APOLLO Distribution, the track pairs smooth vocals with an intense trap beat, delivering a confident soundtrack for leaving the past behind and stepping into a new chapter.
Centred on the moment you realise you're better off without someone holding you back, ‘Better Off’ brings together SoCandy’s direct, fed-up energy and Karléh’s polished vocal delivery. The result is an empowering track that swaps heartbreak for independence, putting the focus firmly on what comes next.
Drawing influence from artists including Doja Cat, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, Karléh brings a bold hip-hop edge to her pop-soul foundations. Her sound balances assertive production and unapologetic lyricism with a melodic sensibility that gives her music its own identity.
The new single follows August’s ‘On Da Way’, continuing a run of releases built around confidence, independence and knowing your value. With ‘Better Off’, Karléh sharpens that message, embracing a sound that feels direct, energetic and ready to make an impact.
Beyond her own music, Karléh is also developing her work as a creative director, directing music videos, creating visual content and collaborating with other artists to help bring their ideas to life. That broader creative vision adds another dimension to an artist continuing to shape her own direction.
With more music on the way as she builds towards her forthcoming project, ‘Better Off’ finds Karléh firmly focused on forward motion. Sometimes the best response to a break-up isn't looking back — it's realising what you're capable of without the baggage.
