iKeda Announces New EP Bangs N Braces, Shares Vibrant Video for "Go!"

London's rising underground pop force iKeda has shared the striking new music video for her latest single "Go!" while announcing her sophomore EP, Bangs N Braces, arriving August 28 via Orbit Artist Group.

Directed by longtime collaborator Erika Kamano and filmed in Jamaica, the visual pairs bold choreography with surreal, cinematic imagery, reflecting the electro-pop artist's Caribbean heritage and genre-defying aesthetic. Inspired by filmmaker Shūji Terayama, the video transforms colourful island landscapes into a dreamlike backdrop for iKeda's infectious new single.

"'Go!' is a manifestation song," iKeda explains. "I imagined walking through a grey world and bringing it back to life with colour. Filming in Jamaica felt essential because it's such a huge part of my identity."

Already earning praise from The FADER and Pitchfork, "Go!" also introduces "bubble riddim," a term coined by iKeda to describe her distinctive blend of dancehall, electropop and UK club music.

The track offers a taste of Bangs N Braces, a project that fuses garage, dancehall and underground club sounds with distorted electronics and chant-led hooks, further cementing iKeda's reputation as one of London's most exciting emerging voices.

The announcement follows a breakout year for the multidisciplinary artist, who recently supported PinkPantheress across her UK and European tour. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, iKeda has built momentum with her boundary-pushing creative vision, earning acclaim from The FADER, CRACK, and Glamcult while amassing more than 2 million streams across her debut EP Pretty Little Problem.
