Irish artist GNS taps into the messy intersection of love, lust and longing on new single ‘Call Me’, out now via APOLLO Distribution. Blending atmospheric R&B with the punch of hip-hop, the track explores the pull of a connection that refuses to fade, even when the feelings aren’t returned.

Produced alongside longtime collaborators The Kyd G and DuckyProd, ‘Call Me’ moves between spacious, otherworldly textures and heavier synth bass and 808s, balancing slick electronic production with a more vulnerable emotional core. Drawing on the melodic sensibilities of R&B and the energy of rap, GNS navigates jealousy, desire and the uncomfortable reality of still wanting someone who may not want you back.

Speaking on the track, GNS says: “Sometimes we hate the people we love, wanting to see the worst in them, but no matter how many weeks, months, or years go by, you can still call me.”

With a sound that sits somewhere between SZA, Baby Keem and Drake, GNS continues to carve out a space where emotional honesty meets self-assured bravado. ‘Call Me’ captures the contradictions of romance head-on — seductive, conflicted and unwilling to let go.
