Fred Durst and co. are bringing the nu-metal chaos to Bulgaria next summer, completing a seriously eclectic headliner line-up.

PHILLGOOD 2027 has saved a big one for last. Limp Bizkit have been confirmed as the festival’s final headliners, joining Robbie Williams and The Chemical Brothers for a three-day takeover of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from 16–18 July.

Set to close the festival on Sunday 18 July, the nu-metal heavyweights will bring their signature mix of hip-hop swagger, crunching riffs and unapologetic chaos to the Rowing Canal. It’s a fitting finale for a festival that’s clearly not interested in playing it safe.

With Robbie Williams opening proceedings on Friday and The Chemical Brothers taking over on Saturday, PHILLGOOD’s 2027 line-up is shaping up to be one seriously diverse weekend.

Limp Bizkit need little introduction. The Jacksonville band helped define the late ’90s nu-metal explosion, with Fred Durst and Wes Borland leading a run of era-defining tracks that still hit hard today. ‘Break Stuff’, ‘Nookie’ and ‘Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)’ remain staples of their explosive live shows, proving that the band’s appeal stretches well beyond nostalgia.

Their landmark albums Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water both topped the Billboard 200, while the band have shifted more than 40 million records worldwide. Their appearance at PHILLGOOD will also mark a return to Bulgaria, following their first visit to Sofia in 2009.

The announcement builds on an impressive debut for PHILLGOOD in 2026. The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby headlined the festival’s first edition, with Kneecap, Wolf Alice, Suede, Sleaford Mods, Thievery Corporation, Daniel Avery, Kelly Lee Owens and more joining the bill.

More than 35 artists performed across the three days, drawing thousands of music fans to Plovdiv — over a quarter of whom travelled from outside Bulgaria. Not bad for a festival making its first appearance on the European circuit.

And it’s not just the line-up doing the heavy lifting. Plovdiv offers a pretty spectacular backdrop, with ancient Roman architecture, a thriving arts scene and plenty of nightlife making it an appealing alternative to Europe’s more familiar festival destinations.

PHILLGOOD 2027 takes place at the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv from 16–18 July.

Three-day tickets start at €199, with day tickets from €99.
