fabric Originals returns with fabric SELECTS VI, the sixth instalment in its forward-facing compilation series, spotlighting a tight blend of house, tech house, and progressive cuts.

Out now digitally (with a limited hand-stamped vinyl sampler already sold out), SELECTS VI brings together 16 tracks from both rising talent and established names, opening with British house duo The Trip and their groove-heavy lead single “House Tool.” Inspired by 90s US jacking house, the track sets the tone with choppy drums, infectious rhythm, and no-nonsense dancefloor energy.

The compilation also features standout cuts from Scarlett O’Malley, Mella Dee, Yazmina, Andre Zimmer, and Strath, alongside a broader digital VA that dives deeper into club-ready territory.

Launched in 2022, the SELECTS series marks a shift away from traditional DJ mixes, instead focusing on original productions curated directly by fabricm capturing the energy of today’s dancefloor through fresh tracks rather than long-form sets.

Speaking on “House Tool,” The Trip shared:“We made this track at Oli's house one afternoon in October. It's inspired by some of the jacking sounds of the 90s US house scenes… made inside the box with a bunch of samples we found from old records.”
