By George Are Back With 'Summer Song'
Stripping things back to a beautifully crafted psychedelic acoustic release, By George are now almost three singles deep into their debut album, as forthcoming track ‘Summer Song’ is set to land on the 11th June.
The North Carolina rockers are well on their way to releasing their debut album ‘The Life Of Guy,’ a concept project that tells the story of a man balancing relatable struggles with purpose and ever elusive identity. So far, the Foo Fighters-esc single ‘Relax’ and the garage-indie second single ‘Handsome Hobo’ have started attracting some serious press support. Now on their third release, Henry Moldenhauer, Tyler Ford, Will Henshaw and Chaandmon Croft are showing their diverse musicianship and downright impressive song writing abilities with ‘Summer Song.’

Aptly titled, the beautiful fingerpicked acoustic guitar playing makes for an atmospheric melody that allows the vocals to shine. On point harmonies delivered with emotion, By George have written this one straight from the heart. On their new single they added:
"Summer Song’ serves as the third and last song in somewhat of a musical act portraying Guy’s experiences with intimate relationships. This song describes the ending of a relationship in which Guy repeatedly avoided the underlying issues between him and his significant other. Then reality is forced upon them and they have to come to terms with the fact that they can no longer pretend that everything's all right. Even though it is a tough pill to swallow, this experience serves as a wakeup call for Guy to give his all and never hold anything back from the ones that mean the most to him."
A band well on their way to big things, this is going to be something special.
