BRITs Week 2026 Breaks Records with £1.16 Million Raised for War Child

BRITs Week 26 for War Child, delivered by DHL, has wrapped its biggest series to date—raising a record-breaking £1.16 million across 12 intimate shows nationwide. The milestone pushes the initiative’s total fundraising efforts to over £9.16 million since its launch in 2009, reinforcing its status as one of the UK music industry’s most impactful charity events.

Taking place across London, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Brighton and Nottingham, this year’s run marked a major expansion beyond the capital. The 2026 edition coincided with The BRIT Awards’ historic move to Manchester, ushering in a new era for the week-long series and bringing fans closer to their favourite artists across more cities than ever before.

A standout lineup—including Fatboy Slim, Olivia Dean, Robbie Williams, Spiritualized and Myles Smith—delivered a string of one-off, up-close performances, donating their time to support War Child’s vital work with children affected by conflict.

Beyond the live shows, additional fundraising came through initiatives like the “Wear it for War Child” campaign, alongside support from partners including DHL and BUILDHOLLYWOOD, who amplified the series with nationwide outdoor advertising.

War Child’s Head of Live Music, Clare Sanders-Wright, described the total as “phenomenal”, highlighting the direct impact the funds will have in helping children not only survive conflict but rebuild and thrive. With record-breaking funds, a nationwide footprint, and an all-star lineup, BRITs Week 2026 has set a new benchmark—proving once again the power of live music to drive real-world change.
