Blair Davie is leaning into love, fear and emotional freefall on their euphoric new single “So What?”.

Out now via Giant Music, the track marks the second preview of Blair’s forthcoming EP You Like Ugly, Don’t You Babe?, due for release on 9 September. Pairing an upbeat, expansive sound with the lyrical honesty that has become their trademark, “So What?” captures the exhilarating moment of choosing love even when every instinct tells you to run.

“Even when it’s terrifying, even when you feel undeserving… say ‘So What?’ and dive in anyway,” Blair explains.

Born in Scotland and now based in London, Blair Davie has quickly emerged as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices. Their emotionally direct songwriting and soulful vocal delivery have earned comparisons to artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Dermot Kennedy and Tom Odell, while support from The Telegraph, Clash, Wonderland and Official Charts has helped cement their rising reputation.

Still only 23, Blair has already received an Ivor Novello nomination and been named an Amazon Music UK Rising Star. They’ve also shared stages with James Arthur, Emeli Sandé and JP Cooper, and are set to headline a run of sold-out UK dates this spring.

If recent single “When You Fall In Love” explored healing and self-acceptance, “So What?” pushes the story forward with a bold, defiant sense of release — offering another glimpse into an EP that promises to explore love, identity and transformation with striking emotional clarity.
