Get ready for the tour of a lifetime as Olivia Dean announces her highly anticipated spring 2024 UK and European headline tour. Dean is set to take her sensational live performances to some of the biggest venues of her career, including a massive hometown show at London's iconic Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
Of announcing her biggest tour to date, Olivia shares: “I can’t wait to fill these rooms with love and warmth and dancing feet. It’s gonna be very special and I can’t wait to sing with you all”.
To celebrate this thrilling announcement, Olivia has also treated fans to a previously unseen live video of her performing a captivating cover of 'Millionaire,' recorded during her headline show at London's KOKO earlier this year. This fan-favorite rendition of Kelis and Andre 3000's beloved 2003 track has been a highlight at Olivia's shows and festivals worldwide.
This tour announcement comes on the heels of Olivia's incredible summer live shows, where she played to packed audiences across the UK and beyond, gracing the stages of renowned festivals like Glastonbury, All Points East, Montreux Jazz Festival, and many more. She also delivered a sold-out outdoor spectacle at Somerset House, setting a record as the fastest-selling show of the entire series.
Olivia's star continues to rise, with none other than music legend Elton John himself singing her praises: "I think she's a big star... she's a fabulous singer, she's beautiful, she's got that personality that really shines through." This year, Olivia achieved two more childhood dreams: performing on Jools Holland and receiving a Mercury Prize nomination.
Her debut album, "Messy," has been shortlisted as a 2023 Mercury Prize FREENOW Album of the Year contender, with the awards ceremony set to take place on September 7th. Released in June via EMI and debuting at #4 on the Official Charts, "Messy" solidifies Olivia Dean's position as one of the most original and versatile voices in UK pop.
With her knack for crafting classic yet relatable hooks infused with genre-fluid elements, Olivia Dean masterfully explores universal themes of love, loss, and everything in between through her razor-sharp yet open-hearted storytelling. "Messy" boasts hit singles like 'Dive,' 'Danger,' 'UFO,' 'Carmen,' and 'The Hardest Part,' and Olivia recently delighted fans with a special new version of the track featuring Leon Bridges. This is an artist on the rise, and you won't want to miss her electrifying live performances on the upcoming tour.
