Manga Saint Hilare kicks off 2026 with club-ready grime anthem ‘In The Dance’

Grime heavyweight Manga Saint Hilare has returned with ‘In The Dance’, a high-energy new single released today (5 March) that signals the start of a bold new chapter ahead of a forthcoming album.

Produced alongside longtime collaborator MoreNight, the track finds the veteran MC exploring a more dancefloor-focused sound, blending club-ready rhythms with the unmistakable edge of grime. Already heavily teased across his socials, the single has quickly gathered momentum online, with fans embracing its infectious energy and rave-ready intensity.

Speaking about the track, Manga explains the motivation behind the sound:“We feel Grime music doesn’t have enough space in the clubs. The raw energy of Grime is perfect to skank & dance to. So we made ‘In The Dance’ to be played… in the dance.”

The release marks Manga’s first major move of 2026 and reinforces his position as one of grime’s most influential voices — both as an artist and as a cultural connector. Alongside his music career, he continues to host a BBC Radio 1Xtra show with Sian Anderson and plays a key role in Red Bull’s GMT platform, where he champions emerging talent across the UK scene.

Since releasing his previous project Everything Is Under Control, Manga has remained relentlessly active. Over the past year he has balanced music with fatherhood, helped reignite the iconic grime collective Roll Deep, and built a growing audience through his DJ sets and self-filmed multi-genre mixes shared across YouTube and social media.

His work with Red Bull has also seen him host the Mic Flex series while collaborating with rising artists including Mic Of Course, Deema, Shakes The Kid and Namesbliss, further strengthening his reputation as a bridge between grime’s pioneers and its next generation.

Following the release of OUTERNATIONAL at the end of 2025 — accompanied by a run of UK shows celebrating his dedicated fanbase — ‘In The Dance’ sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting year ahead. Blending club energy with classic grime DNA, the single marks the first step in Manga Saint Hilare’s upcoming rollout of new music, reaffirming that more than two decades into the genre’s story, he remains firmly at the heart of it.
