Electronic pop artist LEX VISCERA has arrived with a statement of intent.

Released today (July 17), ANACHRONISM is an ambitious debut album that fuses electronic pop, alternative experimentation and trap-pop into a gripping meditation on time, memory and emotional obsession.

Conceptually rich and sonically uncompromising, ANACHRONISM explores a fractured relationship with time through the perspective of a narrator struggling to accept its inevitability. Full of mania, grief and anemoia, the record transforms time into something far more intimate—an abusive lover, a relentless force and an impossible obsession—blurring the line between metaphor and reality.

Across ten tracks, LEX VISCERA pairs infectious melodies with abrasive electronic textures, cinematic production and emotionally charged songwriting. Previously released singles including "FIXATION," "waveslikedejavu," "MY CURSE" and "DAWN" find new context alongside six fresh recordings, creating an immersive listening experience designed to be consumed as a complete narrative rather than a playlist of standalone singles.

Written during an intense self-imposed three-week creative challenge, ANACHRONISM rejects algorithm-friendly conventions in favour of a cohesive visual and sonic world. Transitional interludes and thematic callbacks reinforce the album's cinematic scope, showcasing an artist more interested in storytelling than trends.

It's the latest chapter in a fascinating rise for LEX VISCERA. Since debuting with 2024's PANDEMONIUM—which gained organic traction across niche TikTok communities—his music has repeatedly found unexpected viral moments. Wither became the centre of an online myth after being widely mistaken for an unreleased Gesaffelstein-produced Lady Gaga demo, while his multilingual collaboration with French-Croatian artist Macha Ravel saw him perform to sold-out crowds in Zagreb during her breakout Lutkica era.

With ANACHRONISM, however, LEX VISCERA steps fully into his own world. Dark, theatrical and emotionally immersive, the album introduces a fully realised artistic identity that refuses to compromise, proving that pop can still be conceptual, cinematic and deeply personal.

ANACHRONISM is available now via APOLLO Distribution.
